Where we book plumbing work

The Grand Strand runs from Little River at the North Carolina line down to Murrells Inlet in Georgetown County. The pool of available plumbers is not even across it, and companies at one end do not always work the other. Pick your town for what is worth knowing about plumbing there.

Why the town matters more than you would think

Plumbing companies do not cover the Strand evenly. Most are based at the Horry County end of it and their willingness to drive drops off fast in both directions, so the practical size of the field available to you changes depending on where the house is. In Myrtle Beach you are choosing between a lot of companies. In Murrells Inlet, across the county line, you are choosing between noticeably fewer.

Building type narrows it again. A company that does slab work all day may not take high rise condo jobs, where the water has to be shut off at the riser and the management office has to be in the loop. Another will do nothing but condos. Neither is better, they are just different businesses, and matching the job to the right one is most of what this service does.

The upshot for you is simple. Tell us the town and the building type in the first thirty seconds of the call, and say how soon you need it. Those three facts decide which companies your request goes to, and getting them right up front is what keeps you from waiting on a visit from somebody who was never going to take the job.

Somewhere else on the Strand

These six are where most of our requests come from, not the boundary of where we can book. Surrounding communities including Garden City, Socastee, Carolina Forest, Loris and Pawleys Island are all worth a call.
